2018 UTME: Change of course, institution commence
For any candidate of the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) who may be keen on changing his proposed course of study or preferred institution, the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of the procedure.
JAMB stated this on its website on Friday directing all candidates who wish to change their course/institution to proceed to the board’s site and follow the procedure as displayed.
The process is currently ongoing and costs N2, 500 only and can only be processed online, just like every other process of the board.
“All candidates who wish to effect changes on either their course, institution or their bio-data can do so at the closest JAMB CBT accredited centre.
“You can also correct your bio-data which include your name, date of birth, gender, State and Local Government of origin,” the statement said.
The candidates were however urged to verify if their new preferred course of study is available at their choice institution through the use of the JAMB brochure.
Additionally, candidates must also confirm that the institution they are changing to does not have a cut off mark higher than their score and to ensure that the subjects combination is acceptable.
