Michael Ohanu, the highest goal scorer of 2017Nigeria National League with unprecedented record of 21 goals was a thorn in the defence of Flying Antelopes at the weekend’s week 17 fixtures of the Nigeria Professional Football League in Enugu.
Against all odds, the former IfeanyiUba striker helped United to gain a vital away point which aided their relegation cause as they moved up to 19th with a game in hand.
Ohanu despite his goal drought this season never relented in doing what he knows how to do. He was superlative ball handling against Rangers in Enugu, his dribbling and passes was accurate and superb in the game.
Ohanu throughout the encounter didn’t give the due of highly experienced Rangers defenders, Okey Odita and Chiamaka Madu breathing space as he kept them on their toes.
The striker was determined to score his second of the season in Enugu but he was unfortunate as his efforts fell short of earning him a goal.
The Harmony Boys striker has lauded the determined zeal of his teammates for the hard-earned point against the Flying Antelopes
Though, the highest goal scorer in NNL last season was the MVP against away draw against Enugu Rangers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
