Customers frustrated over First Bank ATM service
First Bank customers were on Tuesday frustrated over the epileptic services rendered by the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at the Sawmill branch of Ilorin, Kwara State.
At exactly 9:34am three out of the six ATM machines went out of service while two were blocked. Therefore customers had to stay on one long queue to make transaction.
One of the customers who slotted his credit card into the machine at the time it went out of service, had difficulty retrieving it. Unfortunately the card was not his; so he was asked by the security personnel at the bank to invite his wife (the owner) over before they could help him retrieve the card from the machine.
The situation degenerated into hot arguments between the victim and the security man which took the intervention of other staff to calm them down.
Other customers were seen standing patiently while waiting for the service to pick up.
