Football Club Owners inaugurated in Kwara

 

The Nigeria Football Club Owners Association, Kwara State Chapter has promised to partner with Kwara Football Association as part of efforts to developing the round leather game in the state.

This was in a communique issued at the of inaugural meeting held at the Conference Hall of the Kwara Stadium Complex, at the weekend.

The statement said it will organize football competitions to complement the efforts of Kwara FA in football development, adding that the forum is not a threat to the FA but partners in progress.

The forum however commended Kwara State Football Association for their football development efforts, especially at the grassroots and also pledged their support to the Kwara FA.

The release also congratulated Barrier Sports Club (BSC) FC and Moje Queens FC Erin-Ile for qualifying for Amateur Division III and Women’s Professional Football League respectively.

The communique then praised the state government for providing and sustaining an enabling environment for football development, and for football clubs in the state.

The members of the forum are Mallam M.J Daudu as the coordinator, former Board member, Nigeria Premier League, Alhaji Abdulradaq Owolabi Wopa, Mallam Ademola Kiyesola and others.
