The Kwara State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has fixed the timetable for the 2018 election.
This is contained in a statement signed by the secretary of the electoral committee Barr. Mashood Zarumi and made available to this medium on Sunday.
The time table released has the sales of nomination forms fixed for 17th -31st of May, 2018. Screening of candidates scheduled for June 1-2, 2018 and the released of names of cleared candidates to take place on the 4th of June, 2018.
It further added claims and objection on 4th to 16th June, 2018 while campaign by candidates for various offices will take place between 2nd and 16th July, 2018. July 17 is scheduled as manifesto day just as the election proper is to take place on July 26, 2018.
