Ramadan: Kwara AG distributes food items to constituent

Residents of Alanamu, Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State were in joyous mood on Monday as the Attorney General of the state and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Kamaldeen Ajibade (SAN) distributed food items worth over N1million to people of the area.
Ajibade, who was represented by his Personal Assistant, Alhaji Murtala Delali, stressed that the gesture was in line with the dictate of the political leader of the state and the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
He stated that Saraki has instructed all political office holders to impact positively on members of their society.
“The items here are worth over N1 million and I want to beckon on all political office holders in the state to emulate this gesture so that everyone can enjoy the dividends of democracy they all voted for,” he said.
Receiving the items on behalf of the people, the former special assistant to Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, Abudulrasaq Saliu (Abosioyoyan), stressed that the gesture which is coming during the month of Ramadan period is timely.
“What we have here are assorted gifts which are good for Ramadan and it superseded that of last year. The entire community appreciate the AG for his kind act,” Saliu said.
