Statue made for Phyno in Port Harcourt

 

Biggest rapper and record producer, Phyno, has been honoured with a statue of his own at Eleme Junction in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He started is music as a producer in 2003,

The 31-year-old from Anambra State but raised in Enugu state  shared a photo of the statue on Instagram on Monday with the caption “Akpuola d boy Na eleme junction PH,” which loosely translates to “statue of the boy at Eleme Junction”.

Phyno is renowned for rapping in Igbo while Olamide is for Yoruba. He has worked with different musicians, the likes of Timaya, Flavour, Ruggedman etc.

The indigenous rapper Phyno started recording his debut studio album, No Guts No Glory and since then he has been dropping hitz.

Phyno recently released the video for his song ‘Onyeoma’, which features YBNL boss, Olamide.

Clarence Peters directed the video shot at Capital Dreams Pictures Studio, Lagos.
