Ronaldo put Real in Limbo after UCL win

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has put the club in a limbo after he made shocking comments about his future after the 3-1 win over Liverpool in the Champions League final in Kiev on Saturday.
Though the Portuguese forward stated that it was not a financial matter but he refused to clear the air what the matter is and further said in the next few days he will reveal it.
“It comes from afar,” Ronaldo replied when asked in the mixed zone what his problem was. “Money is not the problem.
“I have won five Champions Leagues and five Ballon d’Ors. I had already made history, but now even more.
“I’m not upset because I know what I give to the club. I don’t want to erase this unique moment, with my colleagues who are champions.
“I cannot guarantee anything. I’m not going to hide, in the next few days I’ll talk… Life is not just about glory.”
Some believe that Madrid president Florentino Perez is behind his angst amid possible demands for a new contract but that too was batted away by Ronaldo.

Man City close to signing  £75M rated EPL star

The Premier League champions, Manchester City plans to defend their title next season and have started making moves on signing a new player.
According to reports on Daily Mail, City are close to signing Riyad Mahrez and the Leicester City star is said to cost around £75 million.
Daily Mail claim that the Foxes asked for Patrick Roberts to be included in the deal but that has been rejected by ManCity. They are ready to sell him but do not want him to be a part of the Mahrez deal.
The same report claims that Mahrez was close to joining Manchester City in January too. The Algerian winger was keen on joining Pep Guardiola’s side but Leicester were desperate to keep him and rejected all bid to sign him.
Mahrez has been looking to leave the club for over 2 years now. He wanted to leave the club after they won the Premier League but was urged to stay for another season.
Last summer, he tried to leave the club once again but Leicester rejected bids from AS Roma and other unnamed clubs. He had even agreed personal terms with the Serie A side according to a few reports.

Manchester United has opened new contract talks with Anthony Martial.
The Sun says the attacker has opened talks over a new United deal — despite being the latest player to fall short for Jose Mourinho.
The club will offer to extend his current contract, which has one season left with an option of another year.
But they face a massive battle to get him committed to Old Trafford after falling down the pecking order this season.
The 22-year-old forward is rated highly among United team-mates but Mourinho started him just six times in the second half of the season after signing Alexis Sanchez.
