Cabinet: Ex-Kwara lawmakers charges new appointees on service delivery
A socio-political organisation under the aegis of All Progressives Congress (APC) former members of the Kwara state house of assembly, has charged the newly swore in commissioners in the state to see their appointments as call to service.
The forum noted that their appointments should not be seen as accidental, as they were carefully selected by the leadership of the party in the State.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the forum, Hon. Layi Ayinde and Hon. Isiaka Mogaji respectively, and made available to National Pilot, the forum reminded the new appointees to always bear in mind that expectations are high and they should strive to justify the confidence reposed in them by the people by ensuring that they add values to the system.
It noted that, the forum do not have any iota of doubt about the capacity of the appointees because of their pedigree, intellect, exposure, passion, tenacity in delivery, and even in capacity.
“We believe we will get the best out of them”, it added.
The former parliamentarians thanked the immediate past commissioners, special advisers and special assistants for the contributions they have made so far to the government in the last few years and advised the new appointees to be mindful of their conducts don’t cut off from their various local government areas as they are now representatives of the government.
The forum, however said, it identified with the governor in his giant strides assiduously working towards building a bridge to link the state to the future.
