Day judge rated me above senior colleagues

He had his NYSC programme at Yinka Oyetunde Chambers in Osogbo, Osun State. Subsequently, he joined J.S Bamigboye chambers in 2011. He however shares with our JUDICIARY CORRESPONDENT, KAYODE ADEOTI, his unforgettable day in the legal practice. Excepts:
I’ve been making since I was called to Bar in courts even up to the Supreme level, but there was a day sometimes in 2012 that I cannot forget in a hurry because of what happened to me.
That day, I appeared at the Court of Appeal. The business of the day in court was a motion for appeal. My client was the respondent in that motion.
The applicant however moved a motion and I opposed it purely on point of law. I informed the court that the application of the other counsel was incompetent because it doesn’t satisfy the requirement of law. The court agreed with me and the application was dismissed.
The presiding judge of Court of Appeal however gave me an honour and called me master of other lawyers in court. I felt so encouraged that day. And subsequently, his remarks has made me confident, now I can appear before any senior lawyer and still be firm.
