UITH CMD: Ilorin Youths Applaud Buhari, Saraki; Charge the Appointee on Development of the Health Sector

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association has appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari over the appointment of Professor Abdullahi Yusuf as the new Chief Medical Director of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH).
In a statement jointly signed on Wednesday by the National President, Alhaji Babatunde Salaudeen and the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Alhaji Uthman Muhammed Jagunmo, at the Association’s Secretariat, at upper Taiwo Ilorin, the Kwara state capital, thanked President Buhari based on the Association’s earlier request to the Federal Goverment to ensure that the Chief Medical Director should be an indigene of Ilorin Emirate.
The statement also appreciated the efforts of the Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Folorunso Adewole, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, all stakeholders in the state and at the Federal level.
The statement charged the new CMD, Professor Abdullahi Yusuf to use his position judiciously for the development of the health sector, Kwara and the country in general.
They prayed to Allah to guide, protect and direct the new CMD in the discharge of his duties throughout his tenure in the office.
