Becoming an entreprenuer has always been the dream of the Chief Executive Office of G Plot Nigeria Limited, Comrade Omoba Adegoke Adeyemi .
He floated a company that is into corporate services, facilities management, real estate brokers, architectural design, project management and property consultant.
He stated that his dream, which he nursed as a primary school pupil was fulfilled after his National Youth Service Corp about a decade ago, when he started the estate business.
According to him, he garnered experience when he worked with 7UP Bottling company and other industries, which he said served as spring board for his business.
” I was meeting people telling them about my business and gradually rented a single room apartment as office and with God’s support this is where we are today with many people on our payroll,” he added.
Adeyemi revealed that the secret of his business lies in teamwork, adding that services of estate valuers and surveyors, architectures, lawyers and estate agents are combined to give outstanding services to customers.
“We bring in a lot of expertise into play to render excellent services. Our core values are honesty, sincerity, innovation, modern technology deployment, time conscious and service to humanity. Problem solving and creating opportunity for global estates investment remains his priority.”
The CEO advised youths to be creative, noting that gone are the days that certificates were seen as major factor in securing employment. Certificates is only a remark for your character but your inputs goes beyond certificates.
He, however, called on the state government to provide enabling environment by enacting laws that will bring estate agents under one umbrella to curbs quackery in their business.
Adeyemi, who is also the Secretary, Kwara State Estate Rents and Commission Agents of Nigeria, urged people to seek redress when they are not provided with satisfactory services by estate agents.
