England are through to the quarterfinals of the World Cup but not because they are better than their Round of 16 opponents, Colombia so argues football legend, Diego Maradona.
Maradona has shockingly accused England of THEFT after they beat Colombia in the last 16 of the World Cup on Tuesday.
The controversial Argentina star did not hide his affinity for the fellow South Americans in Tuesday’s tie in Moscow.
After England’s victory, the 57-year-old pointed the finger at official Mark Geiger and chairman of referees’ committee, Pierluigi Collina.
He said: “I saw a monumental theft.
“I apologise to all the Colombian people, but they must know the players are not to blame.
“It is the man who decides who is the referee who is to blame.
