The Imam disclosed this on Friday during the Juma’at Service, adding that Muslims should emulate the Prophet (SAW) to always assist the poor and needy in the society.
Ayara further stated that Muslims don’t need to wait till they have millions before they can render help to others, adding that small amount of money can go a long way in solving challenges in peoples’ lives.
“Muslims should help others always; you don’t need to have millions before you can help your fellow brothers and sisters.
“Do good to people and little amount can go a long way in meeting peoples need. If you have money give to those who don’t have beside you”, he added.
He charged Muslims to emulate those who spend their money in the development of Islam and strive to emulate them.
According to him, Muslims should learn how to forgive and forget sins against themselves adding that forgiveness is another habit of the Prophet (SAW) that Muslims should emulate.
Ayara said, “Most of us today forgive but we don’t forget. Anyone who wants to see the goodness of Allah should emulate the Prophet (SAW) and learn how to forgive and forget also,
“Anyone who don’t learn how to forgive and forget in life will not receive the forgiveness from Allah.”
He added that Muslims should always strive to pay evil with goodness because the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) does not like paying evil with evil.
