KWSG returns Bello as KWARTMA boss

 

The Kwara state Government has approved the reappointment of Alhaji Yekeen Babatunde Bello as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kwara State Road Traffic Management Agency (KWARTMA) for a second tenure of four years.

According to a statement issued at the weekend by the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Works and Transport, Monsurat Amuda-Kannike, the news was disclosed by the Commissioner in-charge of the ministry, Alhaji Aro Yahaya during a stakeholders meeting.

The Commissioner said the reappointment takes effect from 11th of August 2018 adding that the decision was based on Bello’s track record and dedication to the service of the agency during his first tenure in office.

Aro Yahaya, however congratulated the KWARTMA boss urging him to put in his best in the task ahead for the benefit of the state.

Responding, the CEO of KWARTMA, expressed gratitude to God and the state government for the confidence reposed in him and pledged his commitment to move the agency and by extension the Works and Transport to greater heights.
