Besiktas line up bid for Awaziem

Nigeria defender Chidozie Awaziem is a subject of interest from Turkish Super Lig outfit Besiktas.
According to ajansspor.com, Besiktas manager Sergen Yalcin is interested in signing the versatile defender who spent the second half of last season with another Turkish club Caykur Rizespor.
Besiktas officials according to the website have also met with Awaziem representatives to discuss the move.
Awaziem is currently on loan at Spanish club Leganes from Portuguese giants FC Porto.
The 22-year-old has made 24 league appearances for Leganes this season.
He was in action for 90 minutes in the Cucumber Growers’ 2-1 away defeat at Osasuna on Saturday.
Awaziem linked up with Porto in 2014 after spending three years at Nigeria Professional Football League club Elkanemi Warriors.
After spending two years with Porto B, he was promoted to the first team in 2016 and featured in 10 league games.
Aside from his loan stints at Caykur Rizespor and Leganes, he also spent the 2017/2018 campaign with French Ligue 1 side Nantes.
