I started business with N22, 000 – Chairman, Horse Motors

For Alhaji Atanda Oniseesin his foray into business was divinely charted as he dumped Aso-Oke weaving to deal in sales of vehicles.
Atanda, an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) graduate of Accountancy from Kwara State Polytechnics, said he jettisoned the idea furthering his studies because of the passion for business.
The businessman said he recorded breakthrough after his second trip to Cotonou.
“I started as a join-man with Desmond Motors and later gained freedom by setting up my own personal outlet called, Horse Motors.
“Looking back, I don’t regret abandoning Aso-Oke weaving for motor dealership as I have over 30 cars in my warehouse today,” he stated.
On challenges in the business, Atanda lamented immigration problems encountered at entry points.
Atanda attributed his success in the business to passion and determination not to succumb to failure
He said, “There can’t be gain without pain. To succeed in any business, you need zeal and determination more than you need money.”
He, then, advised youths to imbibe the principle of ‘no sweat no sweet’ in their life pursuits.
