Christians warned against unholy acts

By Matthew Denis

Christians have been advised to desist from evil acts that could tarnish their names and image.
The advice was given by Reverend James Adedoyin of ECWA, Ita Elepa, Ilorin, in his sermon on Sunday, noting that bad name leads to everlasting destruction.
Speaking on the topic “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,” called on the people to attach great value and important to their names and guide it jealously.
Similarly, Christians have been admonished to be of good behaviour and shun vices to attract people into the fold.
A Cleric, Prophet David Awoyinfa gave the admonition in his sermon delivered at the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ilorin District Headquarters, recently.
Prophet Awoyinfa called on believers to look unto God for solution all their challenges as all power belong to Jesus Christ.
The Cleric implored Christians to be focused and praise God at all times to receive abundant blessing.
In his sermon, Prophet Peter Oladipo of C & S Movement Church, Ipetu-Igbomina, emphasised the need for Christians to let the fear of God be paramount in their heart and abide by the will of God in their life.
