Funke Adedoyin has done enough for reelection – Fakayode

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Labour Matter, Comrade Bisi Fakayode has said that the lawmaker representing Irepodun/Oyun Isin/Ekit federal constituency has done enough for reelection.
Fakayode who spoke with National Pilot in his office yesterday noted that Adedoyin has provided infrastructural facilities across the four local governments under her constituency adding that there is no one she has not touched despite paucity of funds at inception.
He said Adedoyin, a first time lawmaker, was able to achieve some of the promises at inception through her personal efforts and finances and partnership with other organization.
“Then, Adedoyin did about three free health services and the budget of 2015 released in 2016 was used to construct the Omu-Aran road, the one released for 2016 released in 2017 was the one she us using to construct the Imoji/Ilale/Oke-Ero road and procured her own drilling machines with the intention to dig bore holes in each polling centers hitherto until it development fault but now back on track. Her coming back in terms of performance is bright because she has done well.
He said Funke made available a million naira monthly for the needy. He said Funke’s approached to stomach infrastructure is masses oriented which did not go down well with some people.
He dispelled the insinuation that the lawmaker is not loyal to Saraki adding that interns of geographical zoning and gender consideration, she has advantage as the only female among the nine Kwara lawmakers at the National Assembly.
He expressed optimism that Adedoyin will get the ticket base on merit and performance adding that she has the support of most stakeholders across the four local governments.
