A movie promoter with the name Archibong Edet was said to have been found dead in a hotel located in Ijegun, Lagos on the 1st of October 2018 over an overdose of sex enhancing pills.
The promoter was said to have lodged with a male partner, Fred Kolawole who is suspected as his the deceased sex partner due to his frequent visit in two years of the deceased stay in the hotel.

P.M. Express reports on the day the promoter was found dead, Archibong allegedly took sex-enhancing drugs and ingested them before Kolawole visited him. Kolawole left very late that same day. The following morning, the hotel management waited for Archibong to come out as he’s known to do in the mornings. When he didn’t, his room was forced open and his body was found on the floor.
It was reported to the police who retrieved his corpse and deposited it at the Yaba Mortuary for autopsy as his Partner, Kolawole, was arrested for further interrogation.
Kolawole has been detained at the isheri Oshun Divivision awaiting thorough investigation over his involvement in the death of Archibong.
