Cleric urges Nigerians to be truthful, honest

Christians have been enjoined to be honest and embrace truth for the country to be great again.
A Cleric, Prophet Akin Awoye gave the charge yesterday in his sermon delivered at the 62nd anniversary of Soldiers of Christ Band of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters.
Prophet Awoye who spoke on the topic “Be strong in the Lord to do exploit,” also implored believers to be strong in the Lord to overcome all challenges of life.
The Cleric called on Christians to depend on the power of God that never fails.
Similarly, Christians have again been called uopn to always be prepared and provide for the hereafter.
The Pastor in charge of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Imole, Amoyo, Pastor Segun James made the call yesterday at the tenth year harvest anniversary of the Church.
Pastor James urged Christians to use their wealth for the propagation of the gospel.
Speaking on the Topic: “Without the fruit of the Spirit, you cannot inherit the kingdom of God”, Reverend James Adedoyin of ECWA, Ita-Elepa, llorin called on Christians to love one another which is the greatest law.
Reverend Adedoyin charged those in position of authority to take care of the less privileged in the society.
In his message, Reverend Kelechi Odii of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, City of Grace Congregation, Obbo Road, Ilorin called on Nigerians to make positive impact in their community, society and the Nation.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of the United Evangelical Miracle Church Off Yidi Road Ilorin who spoke on the topic “Defeating satan”, challenged Christians to be ready to overcome Satan by shunning evil and submit themselves to the power of the Lord.
Reverend Joseph Agboluaje of Second ECWA Shao in his message titled: “A wish that is never Granted” noted that a mere wish cannot hold until we lived the life calling on both the leaders and the followers ti live a life that will make the Country better.
Speaking while rounding off the week of Supernatural with the theme-“from zero to hero” Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo, enjoined Nigerians no matter their differnces to allow God to direct them as only He is able to do all things.
Prophet Peter Oladipo of the C & S Movement Church lpetu-lgbomina implored Christians to abide by the will of God at all times and reflect the teachings of the scriptures in their Characters.
Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel Gaa-Akanbi warned Christians to refrain from acts that are inimical to the growth and development of the Nation.
Pastor Peter Kolawole Williams of the C A C Faith Chapel along Asa-dam, Ilorin appealed to political office seekers to let the fear of God be paramount in their heart to enable God see them through in their ways.
