The Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions, Senator Rafiu Ibrahim has presented report on the nomination of Mr. Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi for appointment as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Senator Rafiu who is representing Kwara South Senatorial District at the National Assembly tweeted this at his Twitter handling @rafiuibrahim on Wednesday.
The statement added that following Senate’s consideration, Mr. Folashodun was thereby confirmed.
Recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari had on July 3rd written to Senate to seek Mr Shonubi’s confirmation.
