Eden Hazard admits Chelsea management put their foot down over the summer over transfer exit talk.
The Belgium captain was a target for Real Madrid, but he revealed today that Chelsea would not consider selling him.
Hazard told Telefoot: “Chelsea, they were clear with me – I could not leave. So I accepted.
“To leave or stay, I was going to be happy and it shows in the beginning of the season. The decision, I do not regret it. What is a pity is that now when some don’t get their way they must have the last word. When they sulk, that’s where they go.
“I stayed I did not talk, I will not go to clash with a club. The club gave me a lot. With respect to Chelsea, it was not done. With LOSC, it was the same thing. I want to leave the same thing departing from Chelsea on good terms.”
