The family of Late Moses Olaiya, popularly known as Baba Sala, has announced December 6 and 7 as dates for the burial ceremony of the icon.
His son, a performing officer at the National Troupe of Nigeria, Emmanuel Adejumo, popularly called “Boisala” told newsmen that the family has decided on the date for the burial. The late Adejumo, a Member of the Order of the Niger (MON), comedian, dramatist and actor died on October 7 at 81 in Ilesa, Osun State. His body has since been deposited at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex Annex, (Wesley Guild Hospital) in Ilesa.
Meanwhile, following Baba Sala’s death, his family members have come out to warn everyone about some suspected internet fraudsters. They disclosed that someone has opened an online account in honour of the late comic actor.
Baba Sala’s eldest son, Rev Bamidele Adejumo, explained that the family had not opened any account for the funeral of his father. He added that the family members are embarrassed that some persons opened a fake account to solicit for funds from members of the public.
