Bank customers on Tuesday complained over the delay in transaction processing by the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of the Union Bank, Challenge branch in Ilorin, Kwara State, on Tuesday.
Pilot Business observed that the process was slow as it took each of the machines about 15 minute for each transaction process. There were also cases where customers were debited without getting cash from the machines.
Some customers out of skepticism stayed off the ATM out of fear that the machine could seize their cards.
The attention of security personnel was drawn to the case of a man whose debit card was seized by the machine during transaction process. The security man however attributed all the challenges to network issue.
