NNL: ABS secures first away victory in Taraba

 

Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC on Sunday got their first away victory in the Nigeria National League with an emphatic 2-1 victory over FC Taraba in Jalingo.
The two goals were scored in the first half of the encounter by Olakunle Olusegun and Chigozirim Metu.
Things became worsened for the home side in the first half as the visitors scored two goals to course confusion for the Taraba boys.
The Saraki Boys started the game the better side dictating the pace of the game with fluent exchange of passes.
Metu, who just returned after several months absence, due to ankle injury got his first goal of the season.
The Golden Eagletes highest goal scorer, Olusegun who is in top form scored again for the second time after rescue his team in their last home match against Kogi United with a loan goal.
The victory will however help the Saraki boys, who are battling with relegation since the beginning of the NNL second round.
ABS will now face Kada Boys at home this Saturday in their last home match of the Bet9ja Nigeria National League (NNL).
