By Mike Adeyemi
Kwara Coalition of Business and Professional Associations (KWACOBPA) is set to organise a debate for gubernatorial aspirants in the state.
The chairman of KWACOBPA, Ahmed Raji stated this during a courtesy visit to the Kwara State office of National Orientation Agency (NOA), Fate Ilorin.
According to him, it is high time people get elected into public offices with the citizens fully abreast of their manifestoes which they can be held accountable for.
He therefore called for partnership of the NOA towards the success of the programme that is expected to come up at a yet to be fixed date.
He said although KWACOBPA is not a pressure group, it can keep the government on its toes to ensure they do the needful and provide the basic and necessary infrastructures for the people.
Raji further enjoined the Director and Staff of NOA to give KWACOBPA a helping hand in propagating its activities across the state.
In his response, the State Director of NOA, Olusegun Adeyemi congratulated the Chairman and other executives of KWACOBPA on their election and thanked them for considering NOA a worthy partner.
The Director stated the readiness of his agency to partner coalition on the upcoming governorship debate.
