Christians tasked on soul winning

Christians have again been charged to be fruitful and win souls for the Kingdom of God.
The Chairman of Maryland District of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Special Apostle Pastor Timothy Odedele gave the charge yesterday at the thanksgiving and ordination service for the 78th International Convention and Conference of the Church held at Galilee Land.
Special Apostle Odedele called on the newly promoted members to be productive and serve God diligently.
The Cleric implored them to be good examples to others and ambassadors of the Church at all times.
Over one thousand members were ordained as Special Mothers-in-Isreal at the service by the Spiritual Father and Chairman Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, His Grace Most Reverend Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye.
The one-week Conference was tagged “the conquering faith” and featured lectures and special prayer for the Nation and the World.
Similarly, Christians have been urged to be prepared for the second coming of Jesus Christ.
The Minister in charge of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Imole, Amoyo, Pastor Segun James made the call yesterday in his sermon.
The Cleric implored believers to desist from sin and live a holy life.
Speaking on the Topic “To stop praying is sin”, the Minister in charge of United Evangelical Miracle Church Off Yidi Road Ilorin, Pastor Taiye Aransiola explained that as believers in Jesus Christ, it was their duty and responsibility to pray for the nation, the leaders and those in authority.
Pastor Aransiola noted that by interceding for leaders and those in authority would make them do the right thing as God is ever ready to answer our prayers.
In her message while preparing for the 72 hours marathon prayer tagged ‘showers of blessing’, Prophetess Cecilia lbrahim of the Olorun-lsadi C & S Church lnternational, Gaa-lmam, Ilorin, appealed to Christians to look unto God for way out and obey His commandments by imbibing the teachings of the scriptures in their ways.
Prophet Peter Kolawole Williams of the CAC Faith Chapel along Asa-Dam, llorin implored Christians to do away with sin to enable them reign with Jesus Christ.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo stressed the need for Nigerians to fear God in whatever they do and be their brother’s keeper no matter their background and differences.
Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel Gaa-Akanbi, Ilorin, urged Nigerians not to relent in praying fervently for those in the corridor of power for God to give them divine direction from above.
