Actor, Aremu Afolayan has apologised to President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and others for the harsh words used while venting about his experience with immigration officials at the Murtala Mohammed Airport.
The younger brother to Kunle Afolayan could not hide his frustration some days ago as he took to social media to share a video expressing his frustration in the hands of immigration officials.
“A big sorry the chief of armed forces of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari and his entire family and another big I am sorry to the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Mr Akinwunmi Ambode and his entire family”.
The video which went viral had Aremu lashing out at President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and others.
Meanwhile, Ace producer and actor, Kunle Afolayan has distanced himself from the viral rant of his actor brother, Aremu.
Kunle wrote in a post: “I have been receiving a lot of calls and comments from people who are mistaking me for Aremu Afolayan in regards to his video.
“I would like to officially state that this is not Kunle Afolayan, he is my brother not me. There is frustration in the land but hey! Thank you. Ire.”
But, after he was slammed by social media users for not having his brother’s back, he edited his post and further stated that it was imperative to clear the air. He wrote: For clarity purpose. I think it is imperative I clear the air.
Aremu Afolayan is the one in this video and not Kunle Afolayan.
People have been responding to the video and tagging my handles as I have also received some calls.
