I started business to impact on people’s lives – CEO, KASLAD Technologies
The need to impact on other people’s lives positively, prompted Chief. Kazeem Olayemi to venture into the world of Information Technology (IT) business.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of KASLAD Technologies, a firm that has become a household name in Kwara State.
He said, ” I train people on how to apply computer to their various courses which is beyond teaching them MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
“For instance, for a client that studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering, I will train the person on how to use computer to programme Integrated Circuit (IC) for digital signage.
“I have a stylish and attractive way of designing curriculum for students and graduates and I also create jobs for them through software handlers.’
He urged unemployed youths to learn how to make computer relevant to their disciplines.
“They should learn at least one software that suits their discipline. There are a lot of job opportunities on software application. And, they should ensure that they register their company before starting any business,” he advised.
The CEO, however, noted that his initial, challenge was capital adding that with determination, he was able to scale through the hurdle.
He urged the Kwara State government to grant tax waiver for new investments to allow such businesses to thrive.
“Kwara State is peaceful and conducive for business but tax reduction will assist us a lot,” he added.
