S/Africa mobilise fans to J’burg

 

South Africa has mobilized fans to come out in their numbers to cheer BafanaBafana to victory against the Super Eagles on Saturday’s 2019 AFCON crunch qualifiers in Johannesburg.

The 1996 African Champions are second in Group E with eight points from four matches and need points against leaders Nigeria to confirm their qualification for next year tournament in Cameroon.

The manager of FNB Stadium and the South Africa FA have therefore urged the fans to turned out en-mass to support BafanaBafana in the 90,000 capacity on November 19 and the country football authority has given a discount for the lovers of national team not to pay for car parking so as to reduce the financial burden on them to watch the game

According to a statement by Stadium Management SA (SMSA) said: “Spectators will not have to pay for parking around the stadium and uniformed private security will assist the SAPS to keep cars safe. The free parking has specifically been put in place to reduce the economic restrictions for spectators to attend the match,” the press release announced.

There will also be a pre-match musical performance to draw in more fans and FNB Stadium will open at noon (Nigerian time) on match day, with bars and food stalls also open for spectator’s convenience from this time.
