Customers of First Bank PLC were on Monday locked out of the Sawmill branch, Ilorin, Kwara State over alleged congestion.
The incident occurred at about 3:11pm on Monday.
A security personnel who spoke to our reporter said he received directive from the management to lock the gate as the banking hall was filled to capacity.
However, our reporter observed that the bank was not congested as alleged but the network was poor, which made banking process and transactions slow.
