Harmony Holdings gets new executive director

A new Executive Director has been appointed for Harmony Holdings Limited (HHL). He is Engr. Yusuf Aliyu.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Head of Corporate Affairs HHL, Mr. Tunde Abodunde and made available to this medium on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the appointment of Aliyu which has been confirmed by the Kwara State Government is with immediate effect.
It stated that Aliyu is an indigene of Ilorin-East Local Government of Kwara State who is anticipated to bring wealth of experience and knowledge having had an unparalleled range of technical and leadership roles spanning three decades in Engineering Design, Project Management, Maintenance, Human Resources, Economics and Planning in different organizations.
“Prior to his appointment, he has worked with Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria from 1991 and served on international posting to the Company’s Canada, South Korea, Malaysia offices at different times until his voluntary retirement in March 2017.
“The new Executive Director is expected to use his multiple competencies of excellent industry knowledge, rich training, proven passion, and broad based skills to the advantage of Harmony Holdings Ltd, especially in the company’s bid to deliver superior results.”
Aliyu holds both a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ilorin and Masters of Science (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Lagos.
He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and COREN registered. He has attended many top-notch professional and leadership courses at home and abroad including United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, the Netherlands, and South Korea, among others.
