With about nine days to the general elections, the Presidential candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), Fela Durotoye has warned the youth against selling their future in the name of vote buying by politicians.
He made the disclosure on Tuesday during an interview with this medium at Ilorin International Airport.
He said, ” What my party is offering Nigerians is good governance and to ensure that the government works for everyone not for the few cabals.
“A kind of opportunity that can be given to all so that the son of nobody can become somebody in this country without knowing anybody.
“Today, we have seen that Nigeria is not working because of bad government. We are injecting good governance with integrity, transparency and excellence to our people.”
Durotoye called on the youth not to exchange their future with vote buying and election violence such as rigging, thuggery among other vices.
He said, “We the youth should ensure that we did not sell our future for money. We should also ensure that we do not let them tell us that our vote doesn’t count. This 2019 is a choice for us to either continue with the old or the new Nigeria.
“We are bringing in government that will create millions of jobs for Nigerians and enhance business activities to make everyone safe and secure to prosper for a great success. We are bringing the opportunity to every Nigerian to pursue their dreams and happiness with equal chances,” he said.
The Presidential candidate called on the citizens to vote for ANN a party that will transform and deliver a new country.
