Frustration forced me into business – CEO Victory Café 

 

Mr. Shadrach Ishaya, a graduate of University of Ilorin is the Chief Executive Officer of Victory Cafe located along Taiwo Isale, Ilorin, Kwara State.

According to him, frustration of joblessness made him to go into business.

He said “After my compulsory National Youth Service year in 2010 I started searching for a white collar job to sustain myself and family as the first born. I   travelled to Lagos thrice and Abuja twice for job interviews and there was no positive outcome.

“I decided to start using my laptop to provide certain services for friends such as setting up and designing websites and programmes. That made me popular and my client base increased.

” I then borrowed money from my family members, which I used to establish  a computer centre. The business expanded over time to cafe status.

Ishaya noted that since he started the business he has enjoyed huge patronage.

The CEO, however, tasked youths to acquire sound education, adding that it a prerequisite to excel in the business world.
