Kwarans speak on plans for Valentine’s Day
…most memorable celebration
Valentine’s Day (February 14) is one of the most romantic days of the year. Valentine day is a day set aside yearly to celebrate friendships, especially romantic friendships by exchanging gifts and going for dates. Many lovers look forward to this celebration. Therefore, KAYODE ADEOTI AND AMINAT BABATUNDE ask Kwarans how they plan to celebrate with their partners.
Fati Aliu, CEO, FAK Fashion Home – Romantic getaway: I will take a break from my hectic schedule to spend quality time with my husband. We will go to a special place; hotel or restaurant to celebrate the day.
My most memorable Valentine’s Day was in 2007 when my husband proposed to me. It came to me as a shock because he called me to come over to a hotel in Offa then and when I got there he popped the question.
Mansurat Amuda-Kannike (Journalist) – We’ll renew our vow: I am going to spend quality time with my husband and also renew our love. I plan to spend the best time ever with my husband as if we just got married even though our union has clocked 18 years.
Because he loves perfume, I have bought varieties for him as Valentine gift.

As a married man but living alone due to the nature of my job, I don’t think someone like me can celebrate, since my wife is not staying with me. All I will do is to go out and do my job as usual as a journalist, then retire home after the day’s work.
