Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has assured that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government will give the people of the state new lease of life, if elected into power in the forthcoming election.
He gave the assurance while addressing the party loyalists at Iporin, Oke-Oyi and Akerebiata; all in Ilorin East Local Government Area of the state, yesterday, even as as he expressed confidence that the PDP will emerge victorious in Kwara State.
The governor said from the enthusiasm shown by the people of Kwara during the party’s campaign across the state, the PDP is coasting home to victory.
He urged the people to troop out en mass and vote for the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and Kwara central senatorial candidate, Dr Bukola Saraki and all its National Assembly candidates across the state.
The Governor urged the electorate to repeat the same on March 2nd by voting for PDP’s governorship candidate in the state, Hon. Razak Atunwa and all the party’s candidates for the state House of Assembly seats.
According to him, the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) has no plans for the people of the state but are only out to deceive the people and get to power by all means.
In his remarks, Atunwa challenged those in opposition to list their contributions to the development of the state and its people.
The former commissioner assured that, if elected, his government will end the current hardship the people have been subjected to under the APC-led Federal Government.
