The Annual Kwara State Secondary Schools Athletics championship will hold in Ilorin on the 21st – 22nd of February 2019 at the Kwara state Stadium.
In a release signed by the media officer of the association, Bayour Issah, urged all the registered schools to abide by the code of conduct sent to all the participants.
He stressed that participants will be hosted by the members of the organising Committee who will be on ground to attend to their needs.
Meanwhile over 80 Athletes have been invited for trials to honour Late Jide Fashikun who committed so much to the development of track and field in Nigeria.
A trophy to the overall best athlete has been donated by National Athletics Youth Coach, Biodun Adeyemi while the Chairman, Alhaji Tunde Abdulkareem will coordinate the whole exercise with the National Coach Gabriel Ogogo.
