Ekiti LG stakeholders rally support for Atunwa, Assembly candidate

Ahead of the March 9, 2019 governorship and House of Assembly election slated for Saturday, stakeholders of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State have rallied support for the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Hon Razak Atunwa and its House of Assembly candidate, Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal.
The party stakeholders urged electorate across the state not to relent in their civic duties but come out en masse to vote their candidates in the coming poll.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the PDP council secretary, Femi Awe, which was made available to this medium.
Speaking on their qualities, the party stakeholders maintained that their candidates have the wherewithal to govern the state and deliver to the people, dividends of democracy.
The statement stressed that Hon Razak Atunwa and Lawal are ‘educated, exposed and experienced’ for the job.
The PDP elders in the council however reiterated their loyalty and commitment to the party and to the dynasty inherited by the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, saying it’s solid and unshaken.
The statement read in part; “The stakeholders of the PDP in Ekiti LGA thank the members of the public for coming out to vote our party and candidates in the previous elections.
“We urged you to come out in numbers to vote for our party’s candidates, Hon. Atunwa as governor and Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal as member of the Kwara State House of Assembly in the election scheduled for 9th March, 2019.
“Our loyalty and commitment to the party and Saraki dynasty is solid and unshaken.”
