Aspirin/honey facial mask for acne

Are you tired of pimples popping up on your face regularly? Do you want to know the secret to reducing them? If you’re struggling with a dull, blemish-prone complexion, it’s time to whip up an aspirin mask.
The active ingredient in aspirin, acetylsalicylic acid is chemically similar to salicylic acid, which helps exfoliate skin and is found in most facial cleansers. Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory so it will immediately reduce any redness caused by acne and blemishes.
Here’s what you’ll need
Four or five uncoated, plain aspirin pills (Advil, Aleve, Tylenol, and the likes won’t work)
A tablespoon or two of lukewarm water
Honey or plain yogurt (optional)
Directions
Mix the aspirin with just enough water to make a paste, then add a dollop of honey. For a more soothing mask, add some plain yogurt. Apply the mask in a thin layer on your face, then allow it to dry. Rinse away the mask in gentle circular motions using warm water.
With just 3 ingredients, you have an affordable treatment that really works. You can use the mixture as a resurfacing paste, or leave it on for about five minutes as a mask. No matter how you use it, you’ll see clearer, softer, more radiant skin. The mask is also effective for women with sensitive skin.
N/B – Try a patch test on your forearm before spreading this all over your face as some people are allergic to aspirin.
