Speaking on the Motion moved by the House Leader, Hon Hassan Oyeleke, after members unanimously resolved to name the building in honour of the late Ciroma, Dr Ahmad said the decision to immortalise him was not only as former speaker, but rather for being a charismatic and detribalised leader who led a rancour-free life and provided guidance to upcoming legislators.
He also called on the state government to immortalise Usman.
He then directed the Clerk of the House, Hajia Halimat Jummai Kperogi, to give effect to the change immediately.
