Fear God, cleric task incoming govt in Kwara

Reverend James Adedoyin of ECWA Church, Ita-Elepa, Ilorin, Kwara State has urged the incoming government in the state to fear God and pay premium attention to welfare of the citizenry.
In his sermon at the church auditorium, on Sunday, he called on the government that will be innaugurated in May, to govern with the fear of God and cater for the welfare of the people.
Speaking on the Topic: “Your God will not forsake you,” he called on Christians not to be depressed and rely on God for solutions to all circumstances.
Reverend Adedoyin noted that it is only God that could solve all human problems, adding that He would not forsake the people who worship and call on Him wholeheartedly.
Similarly, A Cleric, Pastor Segun James of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Imole, Amoyo in his sermon, on Sunday, challenged Nigerians to pray fervently for the success of the new government for the dividends of democracy to spread round the nooks and crannies of the nation.
However, Christians have been charged to look unto God for divine intervention and salvation of their souls.
A Cleric, Special Apostle Michael Alabi gave the charge today in his sermon delivered at the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters.
Special Apostle Alabi who spoke on the topic “Good news”, called on Christians to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and salvation to all mankind.
The Cleric prayed that good news shall not cease in the life of the people.
He urged those who were yet to participate in the Lenten period to brace up and join in order to be partakers of the attendant blessings.
Special Apostle Alabi implored the people to eschew gossip and watch their tongues in order not to go astray.
The cleric appealed to Ministers of God to focus their message more on salvation of mankind.
In his own message, Pastor Isaac Gbemiga Adesina of Kingdom Seed Assembly, Sapati Ile phase two, llorin, urged Christians to study the word of God daily and abide by it.
In his message themed, “Help from above,” delivered at a special program tagged ‘three hours in His presence’ at the 2nd ECWA Shao, Reverend Joseph Agboluaje stressed that true and genuine help come from God alone.
Reverend Agboluaje who identified three type of helpers stated that the nation need help from God in a time like this especially in the area of good leadership.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo enjoined Christians to continue to appreciate and thank God for His mercy on their lives and the nation.
Prophet Femi Emmanuel of the Agbara Olorun lgbani Wasibe worldwide, Gbagede, called on Nigerians not to relent in extending hands of friendship to their neighbours and do away with acts that could hamper the existing peaceful environment.
Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel, Gaa-Akanbi, Ilorin, charged Nigerians to pray for those in positions of authority to excel in their assignment.
