Guber candidate to Abdulrazaq: Run merit-based administration devoid of political sentiments

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate in the last gubernatorial election in Kwara state, Dr. Olajide Joseph Adebola, has urged the governor-elect, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Abdulrzaq of All Progressives Congress (APC) to administer good governance to the people of the state.
Adebola, in a press release made available to journalists in Kwara state, while felicitating with the Governor-elect, noted that he owe it to the people of Kwara to promote unity, peace, progress and prosperity of the state.
According to him, “The people of Kwara were able to freely make a choice as to whom they desire to govern them. By choosing you, the citizens of Kwara State have entrusted you with a great responsibility at a time of desperation for good governance and social justice.
“It is my sincere hope that your Excellency would run a merit-based administration involving all stakeholders and devoid of political, social, religious, tribal and cultural sentiments to immediately ameliorate the devastating effect of extreme poverty in the State.
“In my personal capacity, I hope to work together with other stakeholders in Kwara State in the spirit of solidarity and unity to foster the development of our beloved State”.
