How I was rushed to hospital after winning N2, 500 from sports betting – Okele

Star actor, Babatunde Usman popularly known as Okele is always in the frontline anytime the names of top comic actors in Nollywood are mentioned.
He is among the top three comedians currently dominating the Yoruba Movie industry.
His dexterity in interpreting his movie roles has made him a force to reckon with in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Speaking on a new flick”The Set”, he said “I see it as a movie coming in another dimension to teach people about what is trending in our society.
“Looking at the society today, everyone now gambles especially sports betting. Either you are rich or poor, people have seen it as another way of generating money for themselves aside their daily/monthly earnings. We are narrating a story of how people now take it as priority, how they make money through it, while others are losing on daily basis. The Bet is all about the advantages and disadvantages in betting.
On the role he played the versatile actor said, “The role was very nice because when I played, I won N2, 500 and I saw the alert, immediately I fainted and I was rushed to a nearby hospital. Why I fainted was because I never won it before and I have been playing it for long. That is what the character was all about. I was rejoicing with someone who got millions from it and shortly after that, I saw mine which appeared to me like millions.
Okele, however, said he though he loves football, he is not into gambling.
“I don’t play betting but I am very good in predicting which team is going to win a certain match and that is all. It is not as if I can’t place a bet on any team but I don’t have the time, and I am not use to it. I don’t know how to play it but I can predict using my mouth.”
