KWSG charged on grassroots athletics devt
Abiodun Adeyemi, who is currently Nigeria national Athletics youth coach/Kwara State team coach has given kudos to Kwara state government by charging them to do more in grassroots sports development.
He expressed gratitude towards successful record, with team Kwara at just concluded Nigeria Athletics youth and junior championship in Ilaro, Ogun state, where his boys / girls performed excellently with 16 medals recorded, 6 gold, 2 silvers and 8 bronze.
15 of our Athletes were shortlisted to represent the country in Cote devoire (Abidjan) at the African youth/junior championship coming up in April 16th – 20th this year.

Association, through our able chairman, vice chairman who has been supportive at all time.

Lastly, am using this medium to appeal to Kwara state government , through the ministry of youth and sports development, NGOs, Sports stakeholders and companies who has been supportive so far to facilitate our movement and motivate our Athletes to Abidjan where Kwara state will be among other states that will make Nigeria proud at the Africa youth championship.
