Kwara State League reach quarter final
The 2019 state league organized by the Kwara State Football Association has reached the quarter final.
The competition which started on the 18th March, has 32 teams/clubs
in the competition.
The State league is an annual football event being organised by Kwara State Football Association.
The sole aim is to discover new football talents for the state as some of the players discovered will be selected to represent the state at national competitions.
This years competition witnessed one of the largest participants of 32 teams as the tournaments is in the quarter final stage now.
Speaking with this medium, the secretary, Kwara State Football Association, Ahmed Adedayo adjudged the competition as being the best so far, owing to the numbers of teams that registered for the competition.
“About 32 team participated in the ongoing state league. I was reliably informed by the coaches of this teams that they have not had large numbers of teams like this in the history of the tournament.
“Though the competition is without no hitch, but its minor. In a nutshell, it has been a success tournament so far.
However, teams that have qualified for the quarter final includes: KFA1, Excellency FC, House of prayer Mission FC and Police Machine FC.
Others are, Romeo FC, J.P Young Stars, La Planet Sport Academia and Offa United.
