The Kwara state Boxing Association will today Thursday host their Ekiti state counterpart in one-day friendly competition in the Indoor Sports Hall of the Kwara state stadium complex.
According to the state Boxing coach, Michael James, the competition is aimed at preparing the boxers for the National Open Championship slated for Abuja later this month.
Nine boxers comparing seven male and two females will represent Kwara state at the competition.
The competition which is being sponsored by the chairman of Kwara state Boxing Association, Barr Musa Ahmed will start by 2 pm.
