Miss Omoloye Yetunde is the General Manager of Wenny Beauty and Unisex Salon known for makeup, decoration, hairdressing, barbing among others.
According to her, she has always loved everything about the fashion world right from her early childhood.
She stated that desire and love she had for vanity, made her to enrol in a salon within her neighbourhood at a tender age.
“At that time, I combined schooling with my apprenticeship. I acquired the skill and also focused on my education..
However, while in higher institution she decided to open up a business in order to be financially independent.
She said ” I opened my business since I have gotten the experience. My zeal and urge to be a successful business woman made me to set up my own business. I felt acquiring more knowledge will assist me in my business.”
Omoloye stressed that being a literate person in the business world is added advantage as she is able to add value to what is doing through quality service to clients and good interpersonal relationship.
She revealed that the social media platform has also helped in projecting her business to the world.
The female entrepreneur then advised youths that want to to venture into her kind of business to be focused and be ready to face challenges.
“They should have self confidence and believe in their natural creative skills to meet needs of people in the society.
She added that Kwara State has a good business environment, urging people to embrace opportunities that abound in the business sector.
