For his immense contributions to the media industry and immeasurable contributions to literature, the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of National Pilot newspaper, Alhaji Billy Adedamola will on Saturday, May 4 be bestowed with an Award of Excellence by the Pen Society.
Part of the letter of notification jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of Pen Society in Kwara State, Malam Jimoh Bashir and Rowland Olonishuwa respectively, reads in part;”We are pleased to inform you that a member of the above named society in conjunction with Mikenomics Books Inc will be giving you an Award of Excellence.
“The Award of special recognition as Architect of Modern Journalism, is a token of our appreciation for your untiring support and contribution to literature generally and specifically to the budding writing career of one of our members, Mike Adeyemi.”
According to the letter, the award is to be presented to the MD during the launching of a book titled; ‘Women are the same’ authored by Mike Adeyemi.
