Cleric task newly elected leaders on humility

The newly elected political leaders have been charged to make humility their watch word in the discharge of their responsibility and in relating with the masses.

In his message titled “Serve God with humility”, Pastor Isaac Gbemiga Adesina of Kingdom Seed Assembly, Sapati Ile Phase Two, Ilorin, Kwara State, advised all the elected leaders to be humble and make the welfare of the masses  top priority.

He also urged Christians to humble themselves before God daily so that they could be lifted to live a purposeful life, adding that  humility made Jesus  Christ to die on the cross to save mankind.

Also, the need for Christian to allow the Holy Spirit to be their guide in order to lead successful life has been stressed.

A Cleric, Special Apostle Michael Sunday Alabi  emphasised  this  in his sermon delivered at the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters, on Sunday.

Speaking on the Topic “the power of the Holy Spirit in Christian life” Special Apostle Alabi called on people to embrace the Holy spirit to serve as guide in their Christians life.

The Cleric implored them to desist from sin and move closer to God in all ramifications.

He charged Christians to work towards making heaven and always be of good character to serve as examples to others, reminding them that it is only through the power of God that they can overcome challenges.

Special Apostle Alabi called on them to emulate the sterling qualities of Jesus Christ for his crucifixion and resurrection  to be meaningful in their lives.

Similarly, Christians have again been admonished to always pray for divine protection for the country to witness more development in the remaining months of the year.

A Cleric, Pastor Segun James of the Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Imole, Amoyo, Kwara State who gave the charge yesterday in his sermon, enjoined Christians to always pray for God’s  to protect the country against crisis.

The Cleric charged them to seek for  peace in the land and be their brother’s keeper for the country to progress.

Pastor Taiye Aransiola of the United Evangelical Miracle Church off Yidi Road Ilorin in his message titled “Pray for the Nation” stressed the  need for the people to seek for mercy from God in order to safe the Nation and heal the land for  better.
